DesktopScheduler v5.5 released!

The latest version of my desktop app has been released. This time, I utilize XML to bring in the information, and allow the user to put in their own background underneath the scheduler! Check the readme for more information:

Have you ever wished that you could keep your schedule easily accessible and easily edited? What more approriate place then your very desktop. Desktop Scheduler 1.0 is an interactive desktop scheduling program that lets you have a scheduler on your desktop.

This application, which I designed for personal use, is an application that installs onto your desktop instead of wallpaper. This application, designed in Flash, allows you to turn your desktop into a Scheduler. The information that is displayed on the scheduler is read in using XML socket technology from an exterior text file that is placed on installation. To edit the scheduler, all you have to do is edit the text file, which the installer creates a short cut to on the desktop. The time and date are also dynamically displayed, as well as animations which make it more pleasing to the eye.
