For as long as you’ve known me, I’ve been a technologist — a happy rider strapped securely atop our lifetime’s bull and its run.

Yet as we stand now at the distinction’s demise, between techies and tech-nots, between the luddite’s last gasp and the luscious machine-learnt laborer’s first grift?

My stirrups stir no longer. A watch’s click replaces the mouse’s. My pencil lacks Lithium. My notebook’s memory is measured in bytes. My shopping cart rolls. And my barista burnt my milk.

My final regular expression: “how goes?”
